Did you know that there are more work related deaths recorded per year than those caused by road accidents?

That is why iRoofing follows strict Work Cover Laws by providing a safe work place for its employees as well as the general public. By doing so, iRoofing carries out a Work Method Statement for each job site, which starts with a Site Risk Assessment.

The installation of a guard rail around the roof working area is a must for roofs that have a pitch of 25 to 36 degrees, from 36 degrees and higher, scaffolding must be in place. The height for guard rail must be 2 metres high for a 3 storey building when the roof is not over a 36 degree pitch; over 3 storeys, again, scaffolding must be in place.

Safety harnesses must be worn if there is no other fall protection in place.
